BY SUBSCRIBING TO OUR SOFTWARE, THE SUBSCRIBER AGREES TO COMPLY WITH THIS SUBSCRIPTION POLICY AND OUR TERMS OF SERVICE.
Your subscription begins as soon as your initial payment is processed. You will be charged, in one lump sum, the amount shown on the ordering page. All amounts shown on the ordering page are in your local currency.
We offer monthly and annual subscription plans with varying features and add-ons. Our subscription plans are automatically renewed at the end of the billing period unless canceled by the subscriber.
Subscription and Renewal Terms
Your subscription begins as soon as your initial payment is processed. Your subscription will be renewed automatically on a monthly or annual basis until you take the initiative to cancel it. By providing us with your payment method(s), you grant us permission to securely store it and charge it automatically every month until you decide to cancel.
Change in Subscription Rates
We may change our subscription rates from time to time and we will notify you of any rate change within a reasonable time before said rates take effect.
Taxes and other Charges
The renewal charge for your plan, along with any relevant taxes, will be automatically deducted from your payment method(s) every month until you cancel. If the applicable tax rates change during your subscription term, we will accordingly adjust the tax-inclusive price for your plan on your next billing date.
What happens if your primary method of payment fails
In the event that your primary payment method fails, you give us permission to charge any other payment method that you have on file with us. If you haven’t provided us with a backup payment method(s) and are unable to provide payment, or if all payment methods on your account fail, we reserve the right to suspend your subscription. You can easily modify your payment information at any time through your dashboard or by sending an email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
If you are placing an order on behalf of your organization, you confirm and guarantee that:
- you accept these terms on behalf of your employer or another entity;
- you possess the full legal authority to legally bind your employer or entity to these terms; and
- you are accountable for all usage of the licenses obtained in this order, as well as any future orders.
We offer a free trial of our software to help potential customers evaluate our product and decide if it meets their needs. The free trial period lasts for a period of one month. Upon signing up, your trial period will commence immediately. At the end of the trial period, your subscription will begin, and once the trial period lapses, DigitsLaw will automatically charge your payment method at the rate specified at the time of trial sign-up, along with any relevant taxes, on a recurring basis as per the subscription terms. During the free trial, customers have full access to all features of our software. However, customers are limited to one free trial per subscriber and not per team. Be informed that we reserve the right to suspend or terminate any trial at our discretion. If customers wish to continue using our software after the free trial period, they must purchase a license or subscription to do so. Failure to purchase a license or subscription will result in the suspension or termination of the customer’s account.
You can cancel your subscription anytime via your dashboard or by sending us an email at email@example.com. Our monthly plans are not eligible for a refund upon cancellation. For our quarterly or annual subscribers, if you cancel within 14 days of your initial order, you will be refunded. As a quarterly or annual subscriber, should you cancel after 14 days, your payment is non-refundable, and your service will continue until the end of that year’s billing period.
Billing and Payment
When you subscribe to our software, you agree to pay the subscription fee as indicated on our website. The subscription fee is charged on a recurring basis, as per the terms of your subscription. We accept various payment methods, which may be subject to additional fees or restrictions. It is your responsibility to ensure that your payment information is accurate and up to date. If your payment method fails, we may suspend or terminate your subscription, at our discretion. If you believe there has been an error in billing, please contact us promptly to resolve the issue. We reserve the right to modify our billing and payment policy at any time, without prior notice. Any changes to the policy will be posted on our website and will take effect immediately. We reserve the right to suspend or cancel subscriptions for non-payment. You authorize us, through our payment processor, to store your payment method(s) and to automatically charge your payment method(s) according to your subscription.
Adding new members during your billing period
If you are on a paid plan and add new members partway through the billing period, we will only charge for the time used. We will keep track of this for you, and bill you accordingly. If you pay monthly by credit card, we will calculate the prorated cost and bill you the following month for any new members added. If you pay annually by credit card, we will calculate the prorated cost for the rest of the year, and bill you at the end of the month for any new members added.

The software is licensed, not sold, to the subscriber. The subscriber may use the software only for the duration of the subscription and in accordance with our terms of service. Any unauthorized use or distribution of the software is strictly prohibited.
Support and Updates
Support refers to the assistance provided to customers in resolving issues related to the software. Updates refer to new versions of the software released to enhance functionality, fix bugs, and address security issues. We provide support via email, phone, and chat during business hours. We aim to respond to all queries within 24 hours of receipt. Our support team will provide assistance in resolving issues related to the software. This includes answering questions related to software functionality, providing guidance on how to use the software, and troubleshooting issues. Our support team will not provide assistance with issues arising from the use of third-party software or hardware, issues related to network connectivity or internet access, or issues related to user error or misuse of the software. We will provide updates to the software as needed to enhance functionality, fix bugs, and address security issues. Updates will be provided free of charge for a period of one year from the date of purchase.
Support and Updates for Legacy Versions
We will provide support and updates for the current version of the software and the previous version. We will not provide support or updates for versions of the software that are more than two versions behind the current version. We will provide support for a version of the software for a period of three years from its release date. After this period, we may discontinue support for that version of the software.

We collect personal information when you subscribe to our software. This information may include your name, email address, phone number, payment information, and other contact details. We also collect information about your use of our software, including log data and user behavior data. We reserve the right to modify or amend this subscription policy at any time, without prior notice. Any changes to the policy will be posted on our website and will take effect immediately.
